Permitted use
Use Kalenda to run a lawful private practice: scheduling, client management, invoicing, discovery, booking and commerce within your professional scope and applicable Paystack Kenya and Kenyan law restrictions.
Prohibited conduct
- Uploading unlawful, harassing or discriminatory content
- Collecting unnecessary sensitive data without lawful basis and consent
- Impersonation or fraudulent practice listings
- Misleading professional claims or implying Kalenda endorses professional outcomes
- Circumventing security, tenant isolation or rate limits
- Scraping or automated abuse of public booking endpoints
- Reselling platform access without authorisation
- Processing payments for illegal goods or services
- Spam or unsolicited marketing without consent
Prohibited and restricted payment categories
Do not list or collect as ordinary consultation fees:
- Investment subscriptions or client investment capital
- Deposits intended for onward investment
- Loan disbursements or repayments
- Client trust money or other regulated financial flows
- Insurance premiums (use the dedicated insurance rail after partner approval)
Those flows require a separately verified and approved arrangement (BAAS lending, finance partners, or embedded insurance). Circumvention via mislabelled services is prohibited.
Categories restricted under Paystack Kenya merchant rules and applicable professional law (including illegal goods, weapons, certain adult content, unlicensed gambling, and similar) are prohibited. Regulated professions (medical, legal, accounting, tax, fund management and similar) require proportionate credential review before high-risk activation and directory listing.
Products
A professional licence does not authorise every product sale. Physical product checkout remains gated until shipping and fulfilment disclosures exist.
Content standards
Service descriptions must be accurate. Health, legal and financial claims must comply with your professional regulator's rules.
Enforcement
We may warn, suspend or terminate accounts. Serious violations may be reported to authorities or payment providers.
