Platform minimums
Kalenda sets platform minimum expectations. Practices may publish stricter rules consistent with these minimums and applicable law. Rules accepted at checkout are snapshotted for that booking and are not rewritten by later policy edits.
Client cancellation
Clients should use the manage-booking link in their confirmation. Minimum notice periods may apply as stated by the practice. Statutory consumer rights are preserved where they apply.
Practitioner cancellation
If a practice cancels, the client should be offered rebooking or a refund of amounts paid for the cancelled service, subject to provider processing timelines.
No-shows
No-show treatment follows the practice policy disclosed at checkout. Disputes may be raised via [Dispute resolution](/dispute-resolution).
Rescheduling
Rescheduling is allowed when the new slot is available and any minimum notice is met. Price differences may apply if the service price changed; the frozen price for the original booking remains reconstructable from booking records.
Deposits and balances
Where deposit-based or pay-later modes are configured, the remaining balance rules are those disclosed at checkout.
Group sessions and packages
Partial attendance, organiser vs participant cancellation, and unused package sessions follow the practice rules disclosed for that offering, consistent with these platform minimums.
